Xinyang HUANG
PhD Candidate, HKUST, Hong Kong SAR, China

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), advised by Prof. Kai Chen. Prior to that, I received my M.Phil. in Computer Science from HKUST and my B.Eng. in Network Engineering from UESTC in 2023 and 2021, respectively. Additionally, I am fortunate to collaborate closely with Prof. Junxue Zhang and Dr. Bowen Liu on several projects.
Research Interests
- Host Network Architecture
- RDMA NICs and SmartNICs
- Operating Systems
- Datacenter Networking
I am currently working on Axio Project, an open-source framework for accelerated network I/O systems, with my best friend Zhuobin Huang. Axio aims to deliver high-performance, programmable, and extensible network services for datacenter applications. I am always open to discussions and collaborations on research and open-source projects.
